Aftercare
Please follow these simple care instructions for the healing process of your tattoo to ensure maximum results and to avoid any error on your part.
-
- If you received a clear sticker (Derm Shield) bandage, you may leave it on for 3-5 days maximum. Fluid and ink build up underneath is normal. If at any point any of that fluid begins to leak out of the bandage, go ahead and remove it completely. If the bandage causes itching, burning, or irritation of any kind, remove it completely. Removal is easiest when you run it under warm water first. After your bandage comes off, follow from number 3.
- If you received a temporary seran wrap bandage, take it off after a couple of hours or when you are able to take the time to wash the tattoo.
- Before you remove your bandage make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and dry them with a clean paper towel. After the bandage is removed, wash the tattoo using clean hands and Dial Gold liquid antibacterial hand soap. Do not use bar soap as it holds a lot of bacteria. Dry the tattoo with a clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor healing ointment or a light gentle unscented hand lotion. Do not cake the tattoo in moisturizer, just a thin layer. Repeat this process anytime the tattoo is exposed to sweat, or dirt, or anytime it begins to feel dry, ideally three to five times a day. Always wash off the previous layer of aquaphor before applying more!
- Your tattoo should be fully healed after two weeks. DM or Text me if you have any questions during your healing process!

What I like to tattoo
My style is somewhat traditional with a modern twist. I pretty much only do black and grey however I will do a small pop of color from time to time depending on the design. I also enjoy doing large scale black and grey floral compositions from time to time as well as smaller tattoos like handwriting and lettering!
What I don’t tattoo
I don’t do realism or full color pieces. I don’t do single needle or “fine line” tattoos. I don’t tattoo fingers or faces. I am open to hand and neck tattoos on the right client, but don’t be surprised if I turn down either of these placements. I don’t do geometric bands or sacred geometry.
Coverups
I don’t do coverups very often, but every now and then I do take on SOME coverup projects. The best way to inquire is to text me with a photo of your existing tattoo. Make sure to include the space around the tattoo so I can get a feel for the space we are working with. I will only accept coverup projects I feel 100% confident I can cover successfully. Best way to inquire is to request an appointment, and attach a photo of your existing tattoo.
